"I got laid off in December and had a pre-planned trip to the Philippines, but now that I had the time I extended my trip to Japan and Hawaii. From the way the bag looks it looks like it would scratch/stain easily.. because of the design it looks like you could take a needle and poke it and it would pop! HOWEVER.. this bag has been super helpful and quite durable on our month-long trip abroad. I kicked it under the seat on the plane (coming to terms that maybe it would scratch with whatever junk was under there previously), I had it in taxis.. multiple beaches... multiple cities... various trains.. I've slammed it around, whipped it around... bumped into people and things with it......... and it remains to be undamaged (I think the buckle MIGHT have had light scratches but it's pretty heavy-duty). It was also super comfortable as I did so much walking in Manila, Osaka, and Honolulu.... I still can't believe it. On top of that I had my toddler with me on my trip so it doubled as a diaper bag/toss-all-your-stuff-in-it bag... I appreciate all the pockets on the inside and out............. Just a great overall bag I'm still so blown away!!!"

"LOVE how big and lightweight this bag is!! Perfect for travel, fit 5 books, my iPad, toiletries and more…but during my first use when tightening the drawstring one side ripped immediately. Wish the drawstring went all the way around versus 2 sides sewn in. To fix it, I created my own."
