It’s the perfect size to fit on my carryon suitcase and also to bring to work with my gym clothes/shoes. The material is super sturdy and the pockets are very functional. Also it’s one of the few bags which fits both of my large laptops in the sleeve. I loved the olive color but opted for black to hide any stains."

"I'm so stoked about this bag! I bought it before an international trip and it ended up working really well. I was trying to avoid checked luggage and this gave me so much extra room. I was able to get 2 pairs of shoes in the bottom compartment. It's very well constructed. The material and zippers are very durable. I loved all of the pockets inside, helping keep cords, passport, small toiletries, etc. well organized. The water bottle pocket inside gave me pause at first, but it ended up being great. The size is also awesome as a personal item. It's bigger than I thought! After looking at many other brands, different features, prices, etc. I'm completely satisified with this purchase!"
"I have been a Béis customer for years, and I owned the original Weekender, so I wasn't sure the new one would be different enough to matter. It is. It looks better and it's more useful, which is a rare combo when a brand redoes something people already liked. I plan to use it strictly as my carry on. The bottom compartment is the reason I'd buy it again. I pack a full backup outfit down there in case my checked bag doesn't make it, plus everything my toddler needs, and the top still holds the rest of my stuff without me fighting the zipper. Being able to keep the kid gear separate from my things instead of digging through one big pile is worth it on its own. If you're on the fence because you already have the old one, the new version is the better bag."

"When the redesigned pieces were released, I was curious and decided to purchase the Maple I had been eyeing, as my Slate Mini-Weekender (original version) has become my favorite personal item for flying. In comparing the original and the redesign, I do appreciate several features that are significant improvements, including the larger front pocket, more comfortable cross-body strap, snap-down zipper ends, and roll-up bottom separator so as to combine both sections into a single larger compartment. However, truth be told I still much prefer the styling and less bulky aesthetic of the original which, to me, is "worth its weight" (pun intended) as I always pair it with a carry-on roller anyways. Nevertheless, it is yet another beautiful Beis bag in my collection and I look forward to using it."
"This was just what I needed for quick trip. The bag tucked in-between two roller bags in the regional jet overhead! The shoe compartment held two pairs and nice to keep separate from clothing! Enough room for my sleeveless tank dress, workout clothes, and jeans and top! Shoulder strap made carrying doable!"
